Building the SixtyFive with a solderable PCB will require additional tools (a soldering iron) to install switches. However, it enables additional layouts and half plate support for a bouncier typing experience. 

The hotswap PCB (in both ANSI and ISO layout) does not require any additional tools and allows you to change switches on the fly. However, you will only be able to use the standard layout and a full plate.
